  1. I really loved the show and can’t wait to see season 2. I like both Justin and Alyssa . I like that Justin has ethics and prays. There was a great balance of both he and Alyssa. I am glade the focus was not just another Dance Mom show but on his career friends and life. Please do a season 2 . It was so entertaining. It’s a rag to riches story and to be gay in Texas with a smdrug addicted and alcoholic family wasn’t easy. Hooray for him getting out of that and having g success.

  2. And when I say Alyssa is the most compelling person, I mean both Justin and Alyssa. The person and the performer are both so amazing!

  3. I loved this show! I actually didnt mind that Alyssa Edward’s was sort of the lone star of the show. Shes the most compelling person on the show. Shes hilarious and there are so many layers to her story. She definately leaves you wanting more. Early on I was afraid it was going to dissolve into another Dance Moms with constant bitterness and hysteria and mom bullies. There is some of that, which is just irritating, but fortunately theres so much more to the show. Hope theres a season 2!!

  4. Please tell me there is a season 2!!!
Just think of Dance moms but a BETTER VERSION.
Yes, the moms are a bit much but people, that’s life and it’s TV! BRING ANOTHER SEASON!!!

  5. Earnest? That’s one way of putting it. As a mother myself I found the women so insufferable and nerve gratingly annoying that I had to stop watching the series after the third episode because they were making me so angry.

  6. Omg totally addicted to this show!!!!
Where is season 2!? Please tell there will be another season! Live everything about the show! YASSSS! CLICK! LOVE IT!

  7. I love this show I think Alyssa Edwards is wonderful I thoroughly enjoyed the switching back and forth between Alyssa and Justin. I felt that he was fair with the kids, the mothers of the children on the other hand I think I would have kicked off the set! They acted like spoiled little children that had no manners! As far as Justin, Bravo! I truly hope that there is a second season because I couldn’t get enough of this show! I love drag queens! I’m so glad Justin you followed your dream!

  8. I was rather horrified at the mothers of these girls and their bullying of the young woman dance instructor who had run her own studio. Justin stated that she was the female version of him. They just berated her and never gave her a chance. It was sickening to see the moms who had serious self-esteem issues pick on a beautiful, talented person because why???? A) Talented B) Smart C) Beautiful D) Knew what she was doing and wasn’t apologizing for it. They should be ashamed of themselves for causing P.T.S.D. Justin’s response was beyond disappointing. In drag, he says that if you want to do something right, you have to do it yourself- thus negating the horrible dynamic and reality of women beating on women emotionally because she was not like them. Justin executes a phenomenal amount of male privilege. He may be in drag as a woman, but he registers at the end of the day as a guy. These women rank males above females. That’s their worldview and Justin goes along with it. He needs to check his priviledge and should have supported Marcella. As a teacher and someone who inhabited the gay/lesbian community for years, this power structure needs to be upended. I meet these grotesque, hateful hover mammas daily in my work as a teacher. I have dealt with it for 20 plus years. I might still watch it the show, but Justin needs to take a hard look at his so-called christian beliefs. Sexism and woman-hating takes on many forms and it is also in the gay community. Life for real women isn’t all shits and giggles.

  9. I thought the moms were horrible and mean and spoiled. They actually caused one of Justin’s employees to quit because they didn’t like what they said. They bullied her into quitting behind Justin’s back. With no consequences.

  10. I am absolutely addicted to this show!! Seeing Alyssa’s talent is one thing but it’s her heart that makes this show complete perfection. The way Justin teaches, inspires and pushes the kids to be the best is everything because it’s from the heart and it builds them up to win. Love LOVE every single moment from start to finish, I’m hooked!
