I wonder if the viewers who are going on and on about how “badass” Arya is appreciate that what they are seeing is a little child becoming a sociopath and mass murderer. I assume (hope) that the show will address the obvious dark underside of all that is happening with all of the characters, male and female. The visceral thrill of seeing Arya kill all the Freys is a cheap one; the real question is in whether or not the show’s producers and writers deal with the real consequences of violence and revenge.
ShaunN We are in the vast minority who care about this interesting point. For me this point began when she killed Ser Trent I think his name was, in Bravos. The sheer craziness of the kill and the growing almost maniacal look on her face with each subsequent kill. She’s going down into darkness and everyone is cheering her on. Well, she is abusing the Faceless God’s power so there shall be a reckoning for her at the end of this series. Funny, I remember the look Ned gave her when she started training with the sword. He smiles at first but then he grows really serious and even the music changes and becomes ominous, as if foreshadowing that he’s helped start his beloved daughter onto a very very dark path. It’s an interesting character arc indeed and one that George has purposefully tried to tell so as to make us ask questions about revenge, young children taking revenge.. etc
I don’t think there will be any death in season 7. Hopefully Jon Snow will not die again. According to Variety and The Boring State, they will live on….
The show would get even better ratings if we could all focus on Littlefinger a little more. He is honestly one of the best and most complex characters out there. We should all root for Littlefinger!
hahaha naw and I dont think so. People want more action not more drama. The show is coming to its climax and end. We want war, tragedy. enemies fighting then uniting to fight the dead.
F off Ismael and Shaun Don’t watch the show if you’re so disappointed,
I can’t wait when Arya dies. I’m sick of that character !!!
:-(
Arya is my favorite character. Has been since season 1.
ShaunN, please STFU.

It’s an f’ing TV show.
Hope there’s going to be more record breaking numbers for GoT until the season ends on August 27th.

I agree. Her reckoning is coming and it will be a bad end.

There is some key little finger scenes in next week’s episode “stormborn”. Yes it is known.
